Do I need to know about horses?
No. You do not need to have prior knowledge or experience of horses.
Campers will be introduced to our equine partner and include safe handling instructions, however, interaction with horse is NOT required.
Will my camper ride horses?
Over the course of several weeks, each participant will be slowly introduced to our equine friends. By the end of the program, participants will have an introduction to riding. Youth will be encouraged to groom, halter, and lead (with supervision).
What should I bring / wear for camp?
Each camper will be asked to bring a healthy bag lunch. (Refridgerator is available) Water and juice will be provided to prevent dehydration.
Wear close toed shoes, and weather appropriate attire. Most activities will be held under shelter.
Apply and bring mosquito and gnat repellant.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Once you selcet “Register today” you will be redirected to paypal where you can pay in full using your paypal options.
What is the refund policy?
A $25 non-refundable deposit is required to hold a space for your camper.
If you choose to pay in full at the time of registration, you can cancel within 24 hours for a full refund.
Full payment must be received no less than 3 days prior to first day of camp.
No Refunds after camp session has begun.
What are the age requirements?
The focus for this program is for Jr High and High school. However, the ideal age range is 12-16 years old.
Can more than one child attend?
Yes, However, it is recommended they attend separate sessions.
